
Guideline For Membership Certification – Sr. Student Member Certification Program
Senior MEMBER [SMCET(I)]
Eligibility:
Age:
Minimum 18 years on the date of application.
Qualification:
Pursuing a Degree level programme in Engineering that is recognized by the Institution and included in the rules and syllabi shall be accepted for various classes of membership. Other qualifications may be accepted in consultation with the Equivalence Committee.
Experience:
No minimum experience is needed
Benefit:
- Corporate Members of CET(I) can use the style SMCET(I) with his or her name and qualification.
- Corporate Members of CET(I) will receive updates about CET(I) programmes like seminar workshops etc. conducting Pan India.
- Corporate Members of CET(I) will get free access to CET(I) Web Journal.
- Corporate Members of CET(I) will get special benefits while applying for any Govt. or Corporate Sectors as Valuers, Project Managers, Assessors, or more.

Student Members i.e. SMCET(I) are entitled to enjoy following benefits regarding CET(I) journals:
- Make free e-access by logging in through www.cetindia.info
- Can avail the journal hard copies at a concessional rate.
Other Benefits for Student Member:
- Student Members i.e. SMCET(I) may access the CET(I) Library at the headquarters as well as State and Local Centres of CET(I)
- Student Members are entitled to receive the monthly colour tabloid ‘CET(I) NEWS’ free of cost.
- Opportunity to participate in technical events e.g. Seminars, Symposia, Conventions, Workshops etc. organized by various CET(I) centres at State, National and International levels at concessional rate.
- Student Members may avail the opportunity of staying in any of the CET(I) guest houses.
- Student groups consisting of SMIEs only will be given preference in release of grants for their final year project/thesis work.
